Who and what is the AC1 designed for ?

The AMA AC1 pipe laser is designed for the pipe laying contractor to withstand heavy wear during many years of use.
The housing is manufactured in aluminium. Even the remote control is made out of metal, waterproof and rugged.

What functionality and specifications does the AC1 have ?

  • Easy operation - Push button symbols and commands are logical and easy to understand. Advanced functions make operation easier for the experienced user.

  • High beam power

  • Remote control – can be used for grade matching allowing the input of grade then final acceptance on the instrument keypad.

  • Battery - the battery is completely enclosed to avoid problems with leakage and poor contact found with interchangeable battery packs

  • The AC1 has a large battery capacity. A full 7 hour charge will give 80 hours of operation. A 30 min charge will give a days work.

  • Self leveling - in both axis, long axis and cross axis.

  • Automatic compensation - the laser can be placed in the pipe with a large cross axis tilt (+/-3°). The grade is automatically compensated to full accuracy

  • Totally waterproof - purged with nitrogen.

  • Protected grade system on remote control

What is the warranty ?

The AC1 has a 2 year warranty which covers defects in materials and workmanship.


Calibration

Once shipped from the manufacturer, Accurate Instruments Optical and Electronic Service Centre calibrates all
instruments on collimators and ranges then fits them with the appropriate shockwatch, calibration sticker and
test calibration certificate. Shockwatches indicate to the user whether the instrument has been dropped.


What is the standard package ?


The AC1 package includes the laser, remote control, pipe target, charger, carry case, shockwatch,
calibration sticker and calibration certificate. An optional trivet is available and also a power cable is available but
not offered due to such a long operation time of 80 hours with the nicad batteries.
