Protimeter Mini

BASIC PROBE SYSTEM

The Protimeter Mini features a basic moisture meter used for making rapid moisture assesements in a wide range of building materials including wood, masonry, drywall, and plaster using the resistance method with probes.

Timber Moisture mode
The probe mode gives a moisture level value in wood and other building materials from pin electrodes. The moisture content is displayed on the simple colour LED display.

The Protimeter Mini features a set wood type and is calibrated for 20 degrees C. Refer to temperature curves and wood calibraton tables for conversions.

Additional probes
The unit has built in probes but additional probes can be connected to the unit such as a standard or h/duty hammer.

Protimeter Surveymaster

PROFESSIONAL PROBE/SCANNING SYSTEM

The Protimeter Surveymaster is a dual mode moisture meter.

Timber Moisture mode
The probe mode gives a moisture level value in wood and other building materials from pin electrodes or deep wall probes. This shows on the LCD display to one decimal place in terms of wood moisture content equivalent.

Dielectric scanning mode
The non-invasive mode, which features a measuring range of up to 19mm, detects the presence of moisture beneath surfaces by using the di-electric method. Moisture level values are shown on a digital display together with a scale of colour coded lights. In this mode the meter employs radio frequency emissions (RfE) to measure moisture through most wall and floor coverings including ceramic tiles.
