BASIC PROBE SYSTEM
Timber Moisture mode
The C901 is a self contained hand held resistance instrument that has small probes to diagnose dampness
and can be connected to the CSH102 Sliding Hammer Electrode. It is supplied complete with heavy duty
vinyl carrying case with belt loop. The combination of the C901 meter and the CSH102 hammer is ideal for
builders wanting to check moisture in framing before fixing any cladding.
Additional probes
The unit has built in probes but the optional Sliding Hammer Electrode CSH102 is fitted with 60mm hardened steel needle probes with insulated shafts for taking gradient readings through a section of timber to a depth of 45mm.
The sliding hammer is
connected to the C901 moisture meter.
