The new state of the art ICX series offer Trotec's highest resolution detector - 640 x 480 pixels combined with a very low thermal sensitivity of just 0.05° C.
The resulting fully radiometric images offer the finest detail and thermal differences.

The ICX models also feature an internal viewfinder, similiar to that of a conventional camcorder. This makes performing thermographic inspections outside significantly easier and more efficient.
The detacheable control unit features a large tilt adjustable 5" LCD display with dioptre compensation.

Fusion Imaging & PIP
"Fusion" is the combination of both an "infrared" and a "conventional" photo.
Because the ICX models feature a built-in digital lens with photo lamp, it allows the operator to overlay the thermal image ontop of a background digital photograph, and then control the level of transparency. By adjusting the transparency, the background image can provide more recognisable definition to the image whilst the foreground thermal image can indicate a thermal problem or anomoly.

The moveable PIP (picture in picture) setting means both the digital and infrared images can be aligned correctly in the Fusion mode.

The biggest bonus of having a digital camera and infrared camera combined in the ICX models taking both images at once with the one camera.
