Trotec EC020
CODE: TEMP TROTEC EC020
Released in August 2012, the new EC020 is the entry level model in Trotec's popular EC series thermal imaging camera range, manufactured and tested in Europe.
It is designed for operators wanting a low cost, lw resolution infrared camera for simple basic thermal imaging applications.
Unlike other low cost infrared cameras, the EC020 specification can be compared to cameras of much higher value. When compared with other economical IR cameras like the Flir i3, the EC020 has;
- 33% higher resolution
- 45% lower thermal sensitivity
- 40% better spatial resolution
- level and span adjustment
- manual adjustable focussing
- 50Hz refresh rate
- tilt adjustable LCD display
- automatic maximum/minimum temperature sensor
- integrated laser pointer
- IP54 more durable and weatherproof design
- plus much much more!
No other camera at this price point offers so much value.
Note: For more advanced thermal imaging applications such as trade Electrical Inspection, Building & Pre Purchase Inspection, Heat Loss and Preventative/Predictive Maintenance, a higher specification model is required.
Please view the EC060 models, IC and ICX models for these applications.

Trotec EC040
CODE: TEMP TROTEC EC040
Released in August 2012, the new EC040 is a feature packed, economically priced model in Trotec's popular EC series thermal imaging camera range, manufactured and tested in Europe.
It is designed for users looking for a better resolution camera than entry level models, but not wanting to sacrifice on specifications or features.
Compared with the EC020 model (see above), the EC040 offers 67% more pixels, producing a better quality image.
Due to the increase in the pixel resolution, the EC040 features a 12.5° lens with a wider FOV (field of view).
This gives the same spatial resolution of the EC020 of 2.2 mrad.
Note: For more advanced thermal imaging applications such as trade Electrical Inspection, Building & Pre Purchase Inspection, Heat Loss and Preventative/Predictive Maintenance, a higher specification model is required.
Please view the EC060 models, IC and ICX models for these applications.

Trotec EC060
CODE: TEMP TROTEC EC060
Updated for 2013, the EC060 is designed for operators looking for an "entry level" electrical or building envelope IR camera.
The EC060 model features the manual adjustments such as ranging (level & span), adjustable focussing etc., required by the user, to be able to perform these types of thermal surveys.
The success behind the EC060 is the combination of a 160 x 120 pixel detector, a low 0.08° C thermal sensitivity, a 20° lens and a 50Hz refresh imaging rate.
Compare the EC060 with similiar priced lower resolution and slower IR cameras and performance and resulting thermographic images are clearly a step above.

Trotec EC060V
CODE: TEMP TROTEC EC060V
Accurate Instrument's best selling infrared camera has just got better.
Updated for 2013, the EC060V is now 20% more thermally sensitive.
The EC060V is a popular choice for operators looking for an economical infrared camera to perform one of several thermal imaging tasks such as;
- Building and pre purchase inspection
- Heat loss and insulation surveys
- Electrical fault inspection
- Underfloor heating etc.
The EC060V model features the manual adjustments such as ranging (level & span), adjustable focussing etc., required by the user, to be able to perform these types of thermal surveys.
Compared with the EC060 model (see above), the EC060V has the following additional features;
- Integrated laser pointer
- Digital camera
- Fusion imaging and moveable PIP (picture in picture)
- 5 temperature measuring points
- Isotherm measurement and alarm
Fusion Imaging & PIP
"Fusion" is the combination of both an "infrared" and a "conventional" photo.
Because the EC060V features a built-in digital lens with photo lamp, it allows the operator to overlay the thermal image ontop of a background digital photograph, and then control the level of transparency. By adjusting the transparency, the background image can provide more recognisable definition to the image whilst the foreground thermal image can indicate a thermal problem or anomoly.
The moveable PIP (picture in picture) setting means both the digital and infrared images can be aligned correctly in the Fusion mode.
The biggest bonus of having a digital camera and infrared camera combined in the EC060V is taking both images at once with the one camera.

Compared with the EC060V model (see above), the EC060V+ has the following additional features;
- Area measurement
- 10 moveable temperature measuring points
- Bluetooth connected headset
- Voice recording
Many of these features are usually only found on more expensive infrared cameras.
The EC060V+'s USB 2.0 port allows you to connect the camera to your computer and use the optionally available software expansion pack to create video recordings and analysis quickly and efficiently.
Fusion Imaging & PIP
