Cretewash used on steel formwork Cretewash used on steel formwork

This steel formwork had cretewash aprayed on and left to activate for a short time.
This helped to break down the concrete and the scraper run along to clean it off.

Crete Blaster Concrete Remover and Wax

Crete Blaster takes the elbow grease out of removing concrete that has been set for a long time from your tools and
formwork. It will dissolve concrete into mud. CreteBlaster quickly penetrates to remove set concrete, cement dust, grease,
grime and dirt, leaving behind a wax sealer to make it all the more easier next time around. Removes existing rust, won’t create new rust. (Then for the day to day just use Crete Wash)

Bracket before being soaked in Creteblaster Bracket after being soaked in Creteblaster

The laser receiver bracket had a build up of concrete gradually over a 2 year period. It was soaked in 4:1 creteblaster
over night then rubbed with fingers to break down the layers, then placed back in for an hour or so then worked on again
and again. There were two small patches where the concrete had gone so hard and ‘smoothed off’ that it need help
with a screw driver to budge them.

Crete-Wash and Crete-Blaster are designed to be used to clean up concrete in day-to-day use and naturally there are those of us trying to remove the old ‘hard’ concrete built up over time. This usually requires a number of applications and work to break down the layers as happened with the above bracket or with the old concrete mixers. (Think how difficult it is to clean the old baked on pans at home and how easily it is to clean the plates!) Reaction can vary from concrete to concrete depending on some of the additives that are put in these days.

  Crete-Wash VERSUS Crete-Blaster

If you care about the what’s under your concrete use Crete Wash. It weakens and removes the render slurry
without damaging the surface and can be sprayed all over a concrete truck (including the polished aluminium
and chrome bull bars, bumpers etc).

If you don’t care about the finish under your concrete use Crete Blaster. Use it to get all the big chunks off
because you’re a lazy so & so and you have neglected your gear because up until now there hasn’t been
anything on the market that makes cleaning it easy. (You may have to apply the Blaster a number of times
depending on how thick the build up is and how many years since you last attempted to clean it)
