Silva Field Compass

The original Silva Field is one of the world's best selling models of compass. Compact in size, yet easy to read and use, it has a base plate map-measuring in mm and scales of 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 compatible with most maps.

The compass features DryFlex rubber bezel for improved comfort and grip, and a detachable safety-release lanyard.

Ideal basic compass for outdoor enthusiasts, orienteering, schools, universities, geography departments.

Silva Expedition S Compass/Clinometer

The Silva Expedition S is a mirror sighting compass with a built-in clinometer scale on the reverse side.
For 2012, it replaces the 15TDCL.

When used with map gridlines, the compass can be aligned to the correct direction then sighted through the grove in the top of the mirror.
The Expedition S has Romer scales with plotting holes for finding and marking GPS coordinates on the map and rubber feet so it won't slide on the map.

It has a luminous compound that when activated by daylight or flashlight, will give light up to 4 hours luminosity. 360 degrees on the graduation ring and 6400 mils on the reverse side. Built in adjuster for magnetic declination and magnifier.

On the reverse, the built clinometer is excellent for taking angles of slopes, beach profiles, dip & strike for geology etc.

Ideal combination sighting compass/clinometer for Geology, orienteering, surveyors, schools, outdoor sports etc.

The Silva SM360LA is a aluminium housed precision sighting compass.

The SightMaster Lensatic compass is the traditional SightMaster model, featuring an aluminium protected sighting system which withstands the toughest conditions.
It features friction free sapphire jewel bearings with short settling time for quick and accurate readings.

Suited to Surveyors, consulting engineers, contractors, forestry.

The Silva CM360LA is a hand-held instrument for measuring vertical angles of heights, in degrees or %.

The ClinoMaster Lensatic clinometer is the traditional ClinoMaster model, featuring an aluminium protected sighting system which withstands the toughest conditions.
It features friction free sapphire jewel bearings with short settling time for quick and accurate readings.

Scale in degrees (+/- 90°) and percentage (+/- 150%)

Silva Surveymaster combo Compass/Clinometer

CODE: SILVA COMBINATION


The Silva Surveymaster is a combination of the SM360 compass and CM360 clinometers built into the one instrument (see above).

2 lens are incorporated into the design of the aluminium housing. Looking through one end is the compass (hodlding the unit level), the other end is the clinometer (holding the unit vertically).

Compass Scale in degrees (360°)
Clinometer Scales in degrees (+/- 90°) and percentage (+/- 150%)

0-115mm length scale on the side, cotangents on reverse.
